3 point-country no more

well, at least for the first 43 minutes. the league is knocking around an idea that the three point shot would be limited to the last five minutes of the ball game. they said it would bring more offensive productivity in the ball game, and this is what the fans want... high scoring games. good idea or bad idea?

It would be a bad idea. It sounds like they will still probably test it on the NBDL but they say they have no plans of putting this rule in the NBA (as you said in your 2nd post).

horrible idea takes away the shooters edge

i would doubt that taking away the three point shot would equal greater offensive output. but it will keep the game somewhat close, depends on who's playing really...
