Not really. While both are dead, Demogoblin can attack Doppleganger from a distance while Doppleganger has to get ahold of Demogoblin. He can just drop pumpkin bombs and shoot fire at Dopple.

If Doppleganger was more intelligent than a mindless beast...then I'd give him the edge.
