Why do women fear Spiders?

I was sitting at my desk where I work and I heard a scream... I thought we had poltergeist in the office at first. All I hear is, "Deacon, come here and kill this spider."

Ho hum.

Why do women think Spiders are this terrible killing machine? They are not that ugly, either.

what is it about them? The eight legs? Women, please.... fill me in.

It's just that they're really gross looking, and the potential of being bitten is what does it for me. and the creepy crawly factor.

spiders are ugly.very ugly

I'm not a woman, and I have the spider phobia, I smash every spider I see. Whether I use my boots, sneakers, a hammer if I'm outside, burn the webs with a grill lighter, or a lighter, I HATE them.

i hate the way they scuttle......

not only gals hate spiders.

i'm arachnophobic., get paralyzed when i see one ✅ but i know a few guy ho have exactly the same

I got a 2 word video game that excelled my spider phobia: Resident Evil, the first one I saw those HUGE spiders, I flipped out, and blasted the **** out of it, and saved, shut off the game, and I was shaking.

I can't even kill them they scare me so bad.

Is it a general insect loathing thing then?

What about crabs (not the venereal disease) and lobsters? Hermit crabs and all of the other crustaceans

I don't go to the beach, and if I did, I'd wear boots. If it CAN bite me, or snap me, or anything threatening, the bastard has gotta go, somehow.

spiders are CUTE 😱
the tiny ones.
and when they're beneath the glass 😉

but guys also fear them 🤨

i cant stand crabs either.they are hideous.those beady little eyes send shivers down my spine

And you call yourself a man, JP?

For Shame!

oh yeas.. and crabs are cute too
i've been having one in my hand, while some holidays :happy"

BALETTED!

Smith, I'm more of a man then you for that comment alone. I won't go into details, but I can actually see a female as a friend, and not just breasts, vagina, and ass, so don't speak to me about being a man without taking a look in the mirror first. I don't need to prove a thing to you, I've got my friends who know what I've accomplished in my life, my social status, and my openness, and willing to listen to anything my friends have to say, it must of come from being raised by two women, but it was what is right for me now, so I won't try to change it ever.

That was playful sarcasm, but somebody is a little touchy it would seem.

I will not get into detail about how your pre-judgement of me is ill-timed and essentially out of line, but suit yourself.

You know little, if anything, about my upbringing, so how can you say anything of the sort?

TICK TICK DELETED!

I was over my friends house 2 days ago and a humongous spider walked across the floor, I flew onto the couch and we were squealing and sh** it was funny. And then she tried to kill it and her brother woke up from all the noise and stepped on it, trailing it all the way to his room.

Spiders are one of a few things I have a phobia of.

I don' t really fear spiders. I catch the small ones, let them walk over my hand and put them outside. But I have to admit that I' m not very fond of the larger ones though.
