A Walk To Remember

I've heard people hate this book/movie and just wanted to see what you really thought of it and if you think the book or the movie was better??

Ive never heard of it...what it about?

it about a girl hows preti much a freak and then the popualr guy falls in love with her and she's never gone out with anyone blah blah blah. they go out and fall madly in love and then she tells him that she is dying of cancer. he has a shock at first and then does all these things before she dies blah blah. it really is a touching movie/book.
