actually it depends on what sword. a heavy broadsword for instance... would be less deadly than a biro, as it is much easier to dodge. a katana however would wipe the floor with a pen

depends how heavy it is, and whose wielding it. if a two year old tried to swing it, they'd fail, yet if they stabbed you with a biro they would at least do some damage.
