Does money make you happy

if someone gave me $1000 to go shopping, sure id be happy!
but it depends on the person.
the whole saying 'you cant buy love with money' is totally true!
i never thought it was, because if a boyfriend of mine bought me something i would find it really sweet. but if someone you hate is trying to buy your love its not gonna work (on me anyway)
my dad said to me once, when i was going through a tough time in life, "ill take you on a holiday, ill let you change schools, well move houses if you want, well change countries, ill buy you anything you want"
and i was discusted!

If ALL your problems are money problems, then money will solve all your problems. Mostly.

Money wouldn't make me happy, I'm a happy chappie anyways besides which I've never had money long enough to get to like it 🙁

You don't need a big pile of money, Baylin. If you have a heart that is true and strong, are considerate of others & those in need and have a good sense of humor about yourself and life, you'll do just fine.

Funny you should say that Gundy, I've never been overly fussed about money. I earn enough to support my family and have hobbies and that really is good enough for me!

In a sense, yes, money is needed to be happy. I'm sorry, I just couldn't and refuse to be poor. My uncle is a pretty wealthy guy, and he says money is everything, and it buys hapiness. I total 100% agree. I wouldn't want to be living out in the streets. I'm not greedy or anything, I would live just over a decent salary. So ask yourself this, would not being able to feed your family make happy because you don't have money? Thought so.

i am lucky, my family are quite well off and i can pretty much get money when i want it

Same here, doesn't mean I waste it or flaunt it.
I have it and therefore I have no worries about it so it makes me happy.

Doesn't mean I'd be completely miserable without it, but I'm happier knowing it'll be there if I ever need it.

Not to mention I also work for money, this is more for experience though.
