I think thats the point they're trying to get across, his dad is the main reason for it. They have a really dysfunctional relationship, from what i have gathered Burton always worked and never had much time for Nick. I cracked up the other week when Jake tried to hug Nick when James died, Nick was as stiff as a board and Jake just backed away. 😆
Its refreshing though to have a main character that isnt perfect and has loads of flaws. I guess it makes it more believable.
I watched Smallville Last night. Some thoughts:
I think that clark acted a little selfish about his eyes and getting help. Also that when he finialy when he made contact with Lana it was only being he felt alone and wnated someone.
Lana found someone else - Im happy. Because this is going to be a good challenge. Because Lana will be torn between clark and him. Clark will also be like im going to lose her, i have to make a choice.
This ep wasn't about their relationship, it was about other people, but they couldn't help but slip alittle bit of lana and clark in there, just to keep us annoyed. also i thought that it was a prety good ep, and i enjoyed it
ok what happened is that:
there was an explotion and clark became blind. but his hearing became really good. Clark's friend got kidnapped and the people who did wanted his mum who's a judge to let this guy go free or they'll kill him. Clark didn't want Lana's help and then he found out that he might never see again and he needs her. and he told her he needed her and grabbed her hand. she pulled away and walked away. we find out that she's falling for the guy in the hospital that she meet and clark was like ooook. so soon he's gona have to make a choice. he then starts to get his eye site back, but needs glass's in the end. that bit confused me. also that lana and clarks friend (can't remember name) who worked for lother and wrote in the paper got fired after clark found out that she'd been researching him. clark go angry. they saved that guy and ended with lana telling clark that there was nothing between them and she'd moved on.
yea i know. im actually quite glad that lana found someone else, it serves clark right. i mean he didn't want her and then he can't see and he's got no one else and then he wants her. and then when he gets his eye site back he tells her it was a mistake and that he can't be with her. I thought that was so stupid and at that point i was glad that lana found someone else, and she really likes him. i think they'll get serice etc and clark will be left in the lurch. but yea they might get back together but will def be later on down the track.
