Top 5 Anime

I'm going to do 2 top 5 list just to list double my favorites :-D

MOVIES

1. Vampire Hunter D -Still my all time favorite anime, I'm kicking
myself for lending my original VHS copy out....
DAMN the MAN for discontinuing that video

2. Akira - brilliant but if you ever get a chance to read the book it's
even better

3. Battle Angel - The manga's are awesome but I really wish they had
made more than just two episodes :-(

4. Ghost in the Shell - Not much to say about this one just excelent
story and animation

5. The E.Y.E.S. of Mars - One of my first anime i ever watched while
not the most dazzling animation the plot and
the big plot twist at the end has always left
me with a lasting impression

Series

1. Inuyasha - quite arguably one of the most entertaining and I think
hillarious series ever Everytime Kagome tells Inuyasha
to sit it cracks me up.

2. Voltron - Yes boys and girls I'm old school :-P I am proud to say i
had ALL the voltron toys it really suprises me how many
people into anime forget a ton of our saturday morning
cartoons were anime

3. Transformers - This is my last old school anime :-) but it still rocks

4. Dragon Ball - There's nothing more hillarious than numerous sexual
undertones and a horny old man in a kids cartoon :-P

5. Trigun - I may have listed this one last but i had to include just for
the simple fact it is the funniest most of beat and
suprisingly enthralling series

Don't hate me, I've only pretty recently started getting into anime... And yes, most of my knowledge of it comes from Cartoon Network. Watcha gonna do?

1. Cowboy Bebop. Vash>Spike, yet Vicious>>>Knives... Oh, and jazz rules.

2. Trigun- Vash, humor, Vash, guns, and Vash. Yay Trigun.

3. Rouroni Kenshin- Ok, I have a thing for semi-pacifist badasses. Sue me. It's not really funny like Cowboy Bebop or Trigun, but it's definitely quite a story. Oh, and Kenshin's a badass.

4. Wolf's Rain- Very well put together. I didn't see all of it, which may be the reason it's #4, but it was quite good.

5. Samurai Champloo- VIOLENCE!!! Hehe. The 2 dudes are much less shy about cutting some bitchis than Kenshin and Vash are. So while I enjoy the entire moral dilemma between killing out of pure necessity and sparing a life, it's fun when there's almost anti-heros, who will gladly cut off a guy''s hand if he looks at em funny.

I've heard very good things about FLCL, but I've seen like... 3 episodes, and it was definitely out of order. So I had no idea what the hell was happening.

There's probably more that I'm missing. DBZ is always fun for a while, but it does get repetetive. Yu Yu Hakusho is also pretty good. And they killed a hero! I was happy that Yusuke didn't just pull some crap out of his butt to survive against Sensui, cuz I liked him a lot more.

rofl i see that some ppl have cartoons rather than anime. Some1 had teen titans, TEEN TITANS IS NOT AN ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The art is similar, but its not anime!

No, they're not anime. Anime is Japanese animation. Those are not Japanese, therefore they are not anime. Goodness.

Dear, I am fairly sure I know more about anime than you. Anime is Japanese animation, ONLY. Those three shows you named are not Japanese. They are cartoons, that's all. Only a Japanese show can be anime.
