Wolverine has taken similar wounds before, hell SS has even dealt them on a few occasions and Wolverine didn't go around limping and holding his stomach... infact the pace of the combat is rarely slowed. The issue makes it pretty clear that Wolverine is in rough shape and it would be relevant to story at all if it wasn't included as an explanation as to why a simple sword would caused so much damage. Keep in mind that Way is the guy who wrote MK Venom so we know what he thinks Wolverine's healing factor can deal with when it is working full steam.

Hehe I can't argue with that since I am apparently the only person in the world that actually read her MK series writes will have no idea what she is capable of and just use the most remedial knowledge of her character for the bases of their stories

Cap's shield is more durable than adamantium. It's mix of vibranium and adamantium makes it far more durable than Wolvie's adamantium.

His shield isn't made from adamantium.

Adamantium was created in an attempt to dublicate the process that made Cap's shield.

I don't know if it is less durable but it doesn't have the properties that vibranium has which makes it much less useful then Cap's shield

I think the only time I've heard Cap's shield is made up of an adamantium/vibranium alloy is in the Avengers movie.

I think it was orginally said in those old Marvel Handbooks.

If it's a random encounter, I think the best way for Cap to win would be to choke him out, and I think he could do that by hooking his legs around his arms and grabbing his neck. I'd say he could do this 6/10. Other than the choke out, Wolvie slices him up...
