Inquiry for all you londoners(?)
I’ve been asked to help collaborate on a…script. Please don’t roll your eyes or silently guffaw, I know it sounds a bit—okay a lot—pretentious. Oh! Ho! A scriptwriter are we? 😮
Something may come of it—or not. So I ask all you who may or may not be a resident of said area for these items.
Names of pubs: places where commoners(is that a term?) frequent, and where those with money, not necessarily overly rich, tend to.
Place of business: banks, art houses, offices or something like that.
Colloquial lingo, parks, schools and universities(prestigious or not, both if you can get it) 😉
And most importantly, given names and surnames, would one be called James or Jimmy. Sounds silly I know, but there may be some if little differences in American and British jingoism, then I just may be ignorant(don’t answer that) 😠
Any help would be tremendously appreciated and if you permit it, I will use you s/n’s for credit…if that is, which is probably unlikely but one never knows, it gets that far.
And if I’ve treaded in the wrong forum, then I trust the MOD’s discretion in placing it in the appropriate place.
For those curious, as of now it is only a germ of an idea and all that is needed is water which we’ll provide, but that I ask, no strike that, all that we ask is a bit of the sun(you). 😛
