im talking like an entire movie. if they did it for one sequence then they'd have to do it for the rest. they only animated his clok because CG hands were rubbing through it. if commander cody had fake armor for a shot it would be because there were other involvements with outside CG characters, or he was being blown up or has a saber being lunged into him.

the rumor is that they are going to do some shots oF yoda with a puppet and other shots CG. they do this because there's a theory of combining the fake and real because it will confuse the audience into not knowing wich is real or fake (which you fell for he he.)
erm.... NO. yoda will be 100% CG in ROTS. they take a yoda puppet when shooting because the artist use it as a scale reference. they also use it to see how the lights of the enviorement affect the skin of the puppet. man, you should watch the making of yoda in the aotc dvd. 🙁

not neccesary. its cheaper ( for GL ) to make a CG model of a suite, rather than acutally _make_ it.
