i have a question, something that's been bugging me....i've seen pictures of obiwan boarding a shuttle thing (similar to the one anakin and padme board in ep II) - you all know the shot i'm talking about with obi and anakin saying farewell.....also of obi with a bunch of clones including cody, that is probably on the same craft.....i can't think that these would be anything other than the trip to utapu.....but i've also seen several different shots of obi arriving and landing on utapu in his jedi fighter.....so, does anyone have any idea how all this fits together?....does the shuttle simply take him to the landing platform on coruscant where his fighter awaits him for the rest of the trip?....i guess that's it, but if anyone can help with a definite chain of events i would be curious.....

thanks for the visual dictionary shots mata.....i really doubt that i'll be able to steer clear of this place once the novel etc. comes out....judging by my past behaviour, it seems highly unlikely.....and to think i swore i was going spoiler free for this one.... 🙄 ....

I'm not sure the picture we saw with commander cody and Obi-Wan is in a ship...the before the helmet pictures showed a model of an outpost...that could be the place where Obi-Wan lands on Utapau with his own starfighter.

ok....so you think the shuttle is just to get to a platform on coruscant, where his fighter waits to take him on the rest of the journey?....the shuttle isn't big enough to house his fighter for him to change mid-journey.....

I'm actually not sure what shuttle you talk about that Obi-Wan enters. The only ship that Obi-Wan enters (correct me if I'm wrong) in this movie is from his own starfighter to the invisible hand which crashes...back on Coruscant he takes his starfighter to the outpost which I just talked about. With what he escapes from Utapau I don't know...Back on Coruscant he unless takes a jedi starfighter to follow Padmé to Mustafar or hides in it, what I also heard. He escapes with the Tantive IV

yeah, all this is true, but there is also a shot of him boarding a shuttle similar to the one anakin and padme board in ep II.....check back through the thread it is there....anakin and obi look like they are having a laugh.....but i think i may have answered my own question, unless someone has a better explanation....anyway, i've derailed this thread long enough, thanks for your help.....see y'all tomorrow....

I see now what shuttle you talk about...that is indeed tranport for Coruscant alone. It's probably the scene that takes them from the crashing cruiser to somewhere else, safer. But it's no transport for deepspace

yeah, what i was thinking....just that i couldn't place the shot of obi with clones, but you're right, it's probably a room on utapu....i hadn't thought that the shuttle might be from start of film, and then anakin goes off to meet with palpatine....but i thought obi went straight into a copter, with mace and yoda, and had the conversation in trailer, where mace says he doesn't trust him....anyway, think we've sorted that out now.....thanks.....

In the beginning of the trailer you see an unknow shuttle flying to palpatine's office near the senate...I think that is where Mace is talking about that he doesn't trust Anakin.

either that or obi going to his fighter....and mace and co. are on a jedi gunship thing, travelling from the wreckage of the crash at start of film....we'll see in about 8 weeks i guess.....

yes you're right, it was on a gunship. I forgot. Yeah can't place that...strange actually, cause it has to be on Coruscant, cause Mace stays on Coruscant. Maybe it's Yoda leaving to Kashyyyk. I don't know, I'm just speculating.
