no joke was intended vador. To make the background its just a matter of:
(Photoshop 7 or CS needed)
1- make a transparent layer then go to filter>render>clouds
2- go to filter>blur>radial blur pick zoom and use your discretion with the amount ( I tried it about 65%). and pick best.
3- New layer > render clouds again this time do a zoom at 100% best.
4 - add another new layer using the paint bucket tool make the colour anything you wish. and set that layer' type to 'color'
Basically after that you can add any text you like or even add another layer to add highlights as was done in the original. So that demonstrates how it was made for anyone to try in photoshop. I did this twice the second time with a darker colour.
Incidentally the text is only a 2 second placeholder as there are plenty of tutorials on how to do metallic and gold text.
Most of the time the things that take the time in photoshop and the like are extremely unimpressive. The reason for this is that 'popular' effects are easier to do due to the plethora of guides on them. The really difficult stuff is sometimes even hard to notice it's been 'photoshopped' at all 😄
I'm not trying to offend anyone here just point out a basic fact thats all.

PS. I added a few lens flares and changed the colour etc on mine but I think I proved what I am saying. Easy as winking and anyone can make their own wallpaper.
prestess that one is one of mine I knocked up in 5 minutes using the steps I detailed in my post. 😆 For god's sakes don't anyone think I am trying to pass this off as real 😆 😆 Glad you liked it though. Not sure which version you saw because the initial version had vader in the background (I decided it spoilt the composition 😂) If needed I can put the other one back. Call that bit of art work my Xmas present to all the reg's here at KMC 😄😄
