It is still open because many members enjoy requesting specific screen shots of favorite sequences of the movie - it beats the heck out of googling for the exact image you want.

Hey, when did lightsabers get points on the ends of the lasers? (like the mace/palpatine battle image?)

And why does a lightsaber blade *need* a point on the end?

I've been looking for a bigger version of this pic and more pics of that scene. Who can help me out?

They were always a tad pointy on the end in the PT. Just looks more threatening, especially from the point of view where Mace is stabbing it at you...
