I hear your words about Sir Alec and indeed sad it is, however, had he been around today, would he have attended...? Reading a few words from his autobiography recently, it would have been seemingly unlikely.... 🙁

Could be that he wouldnt attend, but Ford up until recently wouldnt have anything to do with SW either and he made the pic.

I was really surprised that Ford sat in that pic too. I doubt Prowse was in that pic. Maybe they just stood the Vader suit up for the shot.

I highly doubt it was a contractual thing. And Prowse wanted to wear the Vader shoot for ROTS. I just figured maybe they threw him a bone and let him wear it for this pic.

I hope that LF/GL WOULD do that... It'd show that in amongst all that corporateness that a warm heart still resides....

check out ian mcdermid..loks quite dapper. who would believe he's the same bloated sith lord we saw in that horrid promo pic!? 🤪

Don't take that promo too seriously, I just think that was more for a grin on the part of the photo dept. than for actual releases sake.... 🙂

Maul is laying down in the bottom of a pit on Naboo in two pieces. lol. Actually, I feel that the characters they included in the shoot are the most important. Maul wasnt an important character, IMHO, but he was still cool.

Well, Shmi is Ani's mom. She served her purpose by teaching Ani all the values he will lose when embracing the Sith. So she is important. Mauls' only purpose was to kill off Qui-Gon so Obi would have to train Ani and to make the Sith known and to make the movie cool. The Sith could have been discovered another way by the Jedi. So Maul was just filler. BTW add a bottle of Colt 45 in Billy Dee's hand and we got a masterpiece of a picture

Eh pfffft. I know alot of you felt Maul want important but I feel he could have been if the pic, if they were going to include JarJar right there in the center. 😖 I was kinda wondering why Lucas isnt in middle instead of that fool.
