the dooku line in the clone war trailer-spoilers

when i saw the trailer and i listened to dooku say those words to obiwan : "join me and we will destroy the sith" i was like what the heck is going on??

i just read the early cut´s review @ aint it cool news and i thought this:

the guy in aicn said palpatine sidious dooku and tyrannus are four characters...read it again .... palpy, sidious, dooku and tryannus ARE 4 CHARACTERS. obi wan is talking to dooku, he doesn´t know he is a sith ...maybe when they fight, but as we´ve seen in the trailer this conversation takes place way before...so dooku is talking to ob1 about how he is mad with the republic and how he sees the jedi not doing nothing about the flaws in the republic and why he broke out...dooku is saying "the council is wrong, the sith are taking power in the republic, the jedis dont do anything, join me , be a rogue jedi, join the separatists and fight for a better republic".

well this is just speculations

I think Attack of the Clones is a movie to be seen a couple of times.

even Vader had plans overthrowing Palpy, at least thats what he tried to trick Luke into beliving at Besbin. Dooku is probably using the same tactics. At least that was what struck me first when I saw the trailer. A kind of dejavu there together with Anakin and Padme on the extension bridge

Maybe the dark side makes you feel invincable. Dooku wants to overthrow Palpatine, and so did Vader.

But Maul seemed loyal enough.

Yes, yerss... you are so panicky about that. GL himself said numerous times he likes circular stories and returning themes. We'll see quite a few things that happen in both the OT and the PT. THis seems to fit in just right.

P.S. I think the "four characters" theory is BS.

Bounty Hunters (one of them with a VERY COOL armor)...

they´re 4 characters within 2 persons
characters as in 4 different "personalities" or something like that
we all know palpy and sidious are the same person but in the movie it works like if they were 2 coz each does different things
the same goes to dooku and tyrannus, dooku is the leader of the separatists whilst tyrannus is a sith apprentice. not everyone in the movie know that.
thats why i believe its possible that in time when the line "join me" comes out in the movie ob1 thinks dookus is simply a rogue jedi who happens to be the separatist movement leader...not a sith.
