As someone who has conversed regularly with Cinemaddiction since his first day on the site I can verify that he is always on-point when it comes to debating. He states his opinions.......and states why he feels the way he does. We have disagreed several times on movies.......he doesn't attack someone or a movie just because he doesn't like it. He realizes that different people like different films, if they didn't the movie industry would be pretty boring as the same picture would keep being remade. I can understand how some of you have misunderstood him though........I mean, he does use big words sometimes. It's partially his fault for using words that he knows is not in the vocabulary of the average 15 year old kid who posts on these forums with topics like, 'spiderman roolz dudez!"........he's just asking for it. I must put some of the blame on you though.........for being too lazy to go to www.dictionary.com to look up the words you don't understand instead of just assuming he is being negative.
All in all, I do have to chock this thread up as a negative for C-dic...even though he schooled it.

I agree about the comments that Spiderman 2 is crappy superhero movie that's driven by catchy one liners and CGI cosmetics. Plus the movie has the most stupidest scene in movie history. An old woman (Aunt May) gets in the middle of a fight between two powerful guys (Spidey and Doc Ock) and walks away unharm...... BS!
Since this is quite obviously the "DVD" forum and NOT the "Review" or "Movies Discussion" forum I'm not gonna go to far with this puppy. As a comic book fan and a movie goer I'm simply not interested in the DVD. If I get the DVD as a christmas gift I'll just tossed in the trash with all the crummy gifts I get.

Thanks. I really enjoyed the movie and DVD as i said before. The extras were great especially the comments from Stan Lee, which i always enjoy (i found it amusing that he had always wanted to play J.J Jameson). For me its great to see my 6yr old son getting into Spidey as i did at his age, reading comics and watching the cartoons as well as the movie. The Spidey movies are pretty much as i imagined them as a wide eyed kid reading the comics, the changes didnt bother me there were too many other great moments to enjoy. I can understand why Mr Parker and Bakerboy were unhappy with the deviations but i guess you are always gonna piss sombody off when you make your own version of such a loved story and character. We had the same thing with the LOTR movies, the simple fact is you cant make all the fans happy because they all have their own vision. Im happy with the way the movies are and from the reviews ive read and the general response from fans the majority seem to agree.

Whoa there, i didnt mean to stir the fire. From the fan sites i've been on and the reviews i've read it seems the movies were well recieved. I cant say i know everyones opinion but then i'm sure you dont either. I get that you and others dont like them really i do, i was refering to my own experiences and others ive read about or spoken to.
