Hi Ales. I agree completely.
Firstly, Emma is a good hand-to-hand fighter even without using her powers. Not on the level of say, Elektra for example, but still good. I don't believe Jean is particularly skilled.
Second, she can alter perceptions. For instance, to make a foe think that they are being strangled.
