April 3018 - 12th Gandalf reaches Hobbiton
June - on the 20th, Osgiliath is attacked by Sauron's armies; at the same time the Orcs run an attack on Mirkwood where the captured Gollum is released because the elves that should have guarded him have to flee

July 4th - Boromir leaves Minas Tirith in order to tell Elrond about his dreams

10th - Saruman imprisons Gandalf in Isengard

9th Glorfindel sets out from Rivendell in order to search for the Hobbits

11th Glorfindel defends the Mitheithel Bridge successfully against the ringwraiths

13th Frodo crosses Mitheithel bridge (n finds green stone)

18th Gandalf reaches Rivendell; at the same day, Glorfindel finally finds Frodo

20th Frodo escapes over the Fords of Bruinen with Glorfindels horse Asfaloth; Ringwraiths are drowned and flee to Mordor. Frodo falls unconcious
