Garp is going to trash Luffy, but I think that during that combat the old man will let the key slip so Ace can be freed. I mean, fighting Garp Luffy has more of a chance to leave alive than fighting Sengoku anyways, so I assume that Garp is half-helping Luffy, half-doing his work as a vice admiral. He's been doing that for a while I think.

By the way, there was another rokushiki zoan-fruit user fighting Luffy during the massive combat in Marinefort right? Those rokushiki users sure love their zoans.

If he was in the top of the food chain I guess the series would be kind of pointless.

(To be honest just don't see Zoro beating Mihawk like, ever, but who knows?)

Hopefully Sengoku becomes indestructible or something because Luffy totally tanked that hit.

I'm more than willing to bet that Garp took a fall for Luffy.

Luffy tanked one hit from Buddha Sengoku (weird power), and he had to go Gear Third for it. Impressive feat for Luffy, but nowhere near an indication that Sengoku is weak challenger.

Especially since the entire scaffold collpased from the force of the hit, even with Luffy absorbing it.

Still, I would have preferred if Sengoku had no ability, and was just n incredible Haki user.

Now that Ace is free I'm guessing everyone is fleeing? By himself he doesn't really change much the tide of the battle, and the pirates aren't in much condition at the moment.

Do you think all of them get to the archipielago or that we are going to have them rejoin the crew slowly? I rather have them all at once to be honest since we got enough provisional crews during the Impel Down arc and right now.

You think Luffy's bounty is getting increased after breaking into ID, freeing Ace and hitting one of the favored families? It would make sense I think.

By all rights it should skyrocket.
