Garp is the only one we've seen really fight in the modern day, I think. Some were in the Whitebeard War but we didn't really see their battles, you know? I don't recall any of them being defeated.

Jaguar D. Saul was throwing around battleships (literally), and Aokiji was of course a vice admiral during the Ohara incident too.

Non-combat, but Momonga definitely acted like a badass.

For all that there's been a ton of Vice Admirals known, we don't really have a good picture of their normal strength level.

The giant that Whitebeard defeated in one attack was a Vice-Admiral.

Btw, is it just me or do the character designs of the bounty pirates scream 'these people aren't important'?

Compare to the old supernova like Bege, who had a very distinct style, while this batch just seems to be designed to look nasty.

They seem to have picked a style practically designed to inflate bounties too (going after Marines), so they're likely weak for that bounty level.

Yeah, I think they are likely to be weaker than their bounty tries to imply, being marine killers and all.

I love the fact of how those pirates were astonished by Luffy's past deeds, he's truly semi-legendary as far as feats go.

That's why I'm comparing them more to the old supernova. Bege may have less bounty, but he seems a lot more professional and like someone that's going places. These ones seem less impressive.

I don't know why, but his DF seems really useless against real oponents.

Probably not for an arc or two minimum. Next is fishman island, then it'll probably be New World related.
