Guitarists?

Anyone in these forums play guitar?
I was gonna put this in the OTF, but I'd rather get input from decent posters lol.

I do, acoustic and electric. I have a left-handed Jackson Dk2 Dinky, my pride and joy 😊

I only play for fun nowadays though, been awhile since I've been in a band.

i have an electric guitar, but i can't play it 🙁
maybe once i learn to drive i'll learn to play my guitar

i just started to learn how to play electric about 2 weeks ago, so i am not that good. But i can play some stuff.

I just got a new guitar a couple weeks ago. It's tight.

i always wanted to play guitar but i decided not too so now i am gonna try to learn how to play the bass guitar.

Just buy either "Guitar For Dummies" or "Rock Guitar For Dummies". They will tell you everything you need to know to start playing. Or get some lessons, that always helps.

I like to play! i have a Westfield Stratocaster at the moment but im going for the Gibson Look-alikes you can get. I could never afford the real thing 😆

Im more of a Drummer though it has to be said 🙂

I play a little bit... used to play a lot more, now Im just playing around... not practicing real seriously anymore.

I have an acoustic as well as a pimp stratocaster (its a mexican one, not loaded enough to afford an american one). Its got gold hardware, a "tortoise shell" pattern pick guard, and decoration on the back of the neck... its beautiful.

I need a new amp though... I have a little Vox, but its kind of beat up and isnt working right. Its pissing me off... I might get a new one when I get some cash.

i have a schetor 006 i play but i can only use three fingures due to an accident i write some guitar for the band im in but i mostly do lead vocals i good way to lean how to play is by ear if you can pull it off it will pay off the most in the long run just listin to your favorit songs and try to mimic the sounds you hear

I bankrupt myself recently and bought a left handed Rickenbacker 360 Jetglo. I'm rubbish but I don't care coz it's amazing to look at and not having one (my hero is Peter Buck from REM) was damaging me psychologically.

man, you guys are lucky, i got an encore strat copy, a nylon strung acoustic by 'palma' and a beat up practice amp you've never heard of.
however, im getting a hamer guitar at christmas.

i have a ESP LTD electric. EC series i believe--something like that.

Heh, I taught myself too. I got some help learning the chords, but other than that, I haven't had any instruction 😎

same with drumming.. i used to get lessons but it was too much stuff of no relevance to me lol!!!

i got taught, but it was some old guy teaching me chords, when all i wanted to do was play sabbath riffs
