'Things have gone my way to many times, this time it's your turn, we'll get the information you set out to get and then we'll have more of a basses to confront that bastard Malcolin when we finally meet him. I'm not gonna kill him till I squeeze every bit of information I can out of him. He's the reason for everything I hate about this world, he's the reason we could not be together...' Paul took a deep breath to tame his anger, 'I'm not too worried about Berina and the rest of the team, they're more than capable of taking care of themselves, if they're still alive then a couple more hours won't change much.'
Paul thought for a moment about all that had happened the past few days, everything had gone wrong...well not everything he did meet his love once again and this time he wouldn't loose her.
He leaned in to kiss Chrys, she backed away for a moment, her eyes turning to Raine who was waiting behind them pretending not to look but Paul crept closer till he could feel her breath on his lips and she gave in...It took some moments till they finally broke apart, 'I'm not leaving you this time', Paul whispered in her ear before backing away staring at her face, it was once again the beautiful face he had loved for the past four years.
'erm...Sorry ruin the moment but are we gonna get going any time soon?', Rain said from behind. Both of them looked at her a bit embarrassed but Paul quickly shook the embarrassment away, 'Chrys lead the way, we're going with you.'

Berina grunted as the building shook slightly, she looked out of the window and her mouth gaped, the zombies had been almost totally wiped out. She looked to her left and growled, a vehicle had been overturned, she looked up at Shalimar, "Come, there's survivors down in a car that need our assistance." She smashed the window open and leapt onto the derelict balcony railings waiting for the younger woman.

OOC: I think you should make your entrance now Mal.

'Oh god sbe is as crazy as ever!' Travis thought to himself as he looked around. He was laying on the roof of the car looking out at the massacered zombies. "Lianne?!" Travis called out as he looked around the car. She wasn't anywhere to be seen.

Berina had pulled Lianne from the wreckage, climbing into the car she saw Travis fully concious and he seemed a little shocked, "She is safe Travis, come, take my hand." She reached out to him.

Malconin and Drake both heard and saw the explosion as they made their way along the debris scattered street. Malconin clentched the handle of the katana he had found in the camp, he suspected it was one of Berina's...perhaps a spare she kept in case of emergencies.
"Fu*k me, someone's having some fun," Drake quipped as they set off at a jog and Malconin couldn't help grinning.
They reached the scene after some five minutes and Malconin took in the carnage. Zobies, or more accurately, PARTS of zombies, lay strewn across the street. The car that Travis and Lianne had taken off in lay flipped over and he could see Travis struggling inside it.
The clunk of boots on asphalt snapped his attention to the building and he saw Berina rising from a squat. He was startled when another figure dropped from a balcony to land next to his wife.
He clenched the hilt of the katana harder, expecting trouble was coming from his wife. Thankfully, however, she turned her attentions to helping those in the car.

Berina gasped onto Travis and hauled him from the wreck, remembering of his injured shoulder, Lianne was standing and brushing herself off, she smiled a little once Travis was free of the wreck. Berina's sensitive hearing then picked up footfalls, looking to her left she saw the outline of Malconin and Drake running toward them.

Drake scanned the scene until he knew no one was hurt, then began looking down the street, and listening for the sounds of moans and shuffling feet, sounds his ears were all too familiar with now. "Well, looks like everyone's still in one piece." When he saw Berina, he was half taken aback, and half understanding of her appearance. She had transformed so much. He gave a short, somewhat sarcastic salute. "Good to see ya alive Cap'n."

"Is everyone alright?" Malconin asked worried as he looked from Lianne to Travis and back again. "We heard the explosion," he added and glanced around. "And the results speak for themselves."

Berina nodded, "They're both fine, there are more survivors in an apartment in the building. Lianne seems to have a knack for saving people."

Malconin nodded. "One would hope so, or I would have just been wasting my time enhancing her." He shook his head. "I'm glad you are both alive and all, but I hate to tell you we have company coming."
He flicked his head indicating over his shoulder to zombies shuffling out of side streets and alley ways.

Drake let out his Navy SEAL whoop, and aimed his shot gun. "Its time to play." He fired three shots at lightning speed, blowing all three of his targets away. "Come on brother, you're missing out on the fun," shouted Drake as he took a couple of steps toward the crowd of zombies walking his way, and firing two more shots.

Malconin glanced at Berina with a raised eyebrow and shook his head with a chuckle and a shrug. He swished his katana in a circle and set off a t a jog. He slapped Drake on the shoulder as he passed and let out a cry as he ran headlong into the appraoching dead, slicing rotting flesh to ribbons as he went.

"Oh, hell no!" Drake let the shot gun slide across his back and pulled one of his Desert Eagle's out, and then his knife out of his boot. He followed Mal into the crowd and they fought back to back. Both moved and ducked with the others movements. As Drake spun on his heels to shoot a zombie behind him, Mal moved under his arm and used his blade to remove two or three zombie heads. It looked like they had rehearsed it. Drake used both his gun and knife, cutting zombies throats and stabbing them through the temple as he shot the zombie that were farther away.

Berina ran toward the back of the two men, fending off two zombies as one latched onto her, holding her arm harshly and groaning as it bared its rotted teeth, she growled, snapping it in two and flipping the other around, a thick crunch as it hit the ground.

In a matter of a few minutes, the two found themselves standing back to back, bloodied and sweating and breathing hard, alone amidst a pack of massacred corpses.
Malconin let the tip of the sword slowly rest upon the ground as he leant against Drake's back. "Well, that was something. eh brother?"

Drake wiped a piece of what he thought was brain, and blood from his forehead. "I'm telling you what, that was right up there with my rampage about my wife." He motioned to Berina. "Speaking of wives, yours is quite the fiesty one," Drake said with a smile as he saw Berina put the top half of a zombie next to its bottom half on the ground.

Malconin nodded. "Even before my enhancements she was feisty. Still, I never intended for her to turn out the way she has, this...wild." He shrugged. "I am not complaining though, for we will need her feistyness to survive."
He patted Drake on the shoulder. "That was brilliant, by the way, the way you moved with me. And I cant really say they were the enhancements either...for you havent turned yet. Well done."

"Don't you think it is about time to tell your wife the truth, Malconin?!" Travis asked angrily as Lianne helped him stand up.

Berina stood against a nearby wall, sighing as she took out a cigarette, lighting it and then taking a long drag, she looked across at the men, "You two would still be at it if I didn't jump in, I took down almost a third." She chuckled.

"Bull sh!t one third! We could have done it faster if we weren't watching out for you," Drake said with a laugh. Then he shrugged to Mal's comment. "I didn't feel any different. A guest working with you for the past 24 hours have gotten to me." He watched Travis smash the face off of the last zombie and then the three of them walked back over. "Well, that was exciting."
