The Bush-approved "Yakuza" ad, which aired only in Albuquerque,NM and online, proclaimed Kerry's strategy to win the war on terror was focused on the Japanese mafia (or Yakuza) as opposed to real terrorists like Osama Bin Laden. To represent the Yakuza, the bush ad used a picture of Trigun good guy Nicholas D.Wolfwood, possibly because of his dapper suit and gun. Eyes from Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Yami Yugi were digitally edited onto the Wolfwood image, possibly to capture a more menacing look. The Bush Campaign declined to comment on the commercial.
