I may have heard some of that- d@mn, it sounds interesting. Do you have it?

i think it is because men have always been known as the stronger of the genders and it only made sense that people (most probably men) who first came up with the idea decided that god would be male

Also, it supports the perception of men as a stronger gender, if God is one, and if he is said to favor that gender.
