Brendan Behan a once famous Irish playwrite was asked to come up with the first ever slogan for the Irish beer Guinness. He said he could come up with a slogan and asked the producers of the beer to send him a few crates/kegs of Guinness they inturn sent him around hlaf a dozen crates/kegs. After about a month the people who made the Guinness went to his house to find all the beer had been drunk and loads of paper over the floor. Brendan Behan looked at them and said "I have got it 'Guinness makes you drunk'" this slogan was rejected by the makers.
Brendan Behan died aged 41 of servere sclerosis of the liver in other words he drank himself to death. He was an alcholic from the age of 8. This shows from a quote he once made inwhich he described himself as "a drinker with a writing problem"
