In the soundtrack for the movie 'Donnie Darko' there is a song called 'Proud To Be Loud' and according to the track listings this is performed by a band called The Dead Green Mummies. The band who performed this is actually is 'Pantera'.
Pantera have disowned their first four albums, this song is track 5 on the fourth of those albums called 'Power Metal.' Presumably the band didn't want to be credited with this song as they do not consider their pre-1990 material part of their discography.. so they made up the name The Dead Green Mummies as an alias for these albums.
