nah thats just a myth... think about it, blood carries oxygen with it all the time, even if just in small doses, so wouldn't it always be red??? It is darker the less oxygen it has but it isnt ever actually completly blue...

not blue... just darker red... the myth comes from the fact that our veins are blue but thats just the muscle tissue that makes up the vein or artery showing through the skin

I only know cos my dad told me that blood was blue, and then I mentioned it in front of my whole Biology class who laughed as my teacher explained the truth to me 😮 ... i was soooo embarrassed!
