*sigh*

Oh I see you bought the book called: "10 most cliched ways to reply to someone who disses something on the internet" I see.

Man, what is it with people and "get out if you don't like it"?

I didn't know we all lived in 1940's Germany.

Cut it out. And lets stick to the movie!

How can any of you say the cgi was bad please post a picture with your ignorant comments. Visualy this movie was a work of art. I felt like I was on a universal studios ride from start to finish.

9_9 We get the point that you didnt like it Aku and you too Spidey, but you did NOT need to bite the heads off of people who did like it! You have your opions, and we have ours!
I saw it on the opening weekend twice and I liked it both times! If someone asked me to go with them I'd jump on the chance. Yes it had its cliches, and its weaknesses, but every movie does! LOTR did, Spirited Away did, Princess Mononoke did, every movie does, its part of being a film. I liked the CG and sets, escpailly(sp?) the village. I wish I could draw designs like that! I liked Carl, and the only time I groaned and looked away was at the moment they kissed but I always do that! I HATE kissey-smoochy stuff! Thank GOD Van Helsing was not filled with it like most movies these days are! But I admit the clouds thing at the end was fairly bad. The visuals and the chance to see Hughie in torn up shorts is enough to see it, LOL.
Van Hesling: The London Assignment is worth renting at least for FANS of the movie, its a little cheesy at times, Van Hesling speaks alot more in these but also in cartoons more things have to be conyved vocally rather then in gestures and through the eyes. But hey, its American cartooning (Hates american cartoons with a passion.) Im a faithful anime otaku, and I liked it, hell I've seen it 5 times since Saturday. 0_0;; I realize Im pathic.(?? I cant spell...).
BTW, Anyone remeber what year it was set in? I think it was 1887 but Im not sure...

Question: Kes, if you dont have a 'k' in your native lanauage then how come your sn starts with an k? Sorry... just wondering...

Wo Wo Wo Chill Winston. Be There No Fighting Between Man And Man, let Your Love Grow Strong.

Anyway, what would the world come to if people didnt disagree with something? Without disagreement the world would be in choas. And itrs the same with films.

O wow van helsing 10/10 coz its so brilliant.

Well i think van helsing sucked ass 1/10.

Yes, my native language has no words that use "k", "y" or "w". That doesnt mean our keyboards dont have them 😄
My sn was taken from Star trek:Voyager. There's a character there named kes and I liked the name. No I'm not a Trekkie.

Hello Tristan thats quite an unusual name. Are you a manga/anime fan by any chance and if so whats ya top 5 comics/anime shows.

O yeah by the way my names Dylan

I did see the movie and after realized i should have taken my boys they would have been blow away. Its like watching Indiana jones its got all the great charaters but the older you get the acting seems to get worse.(Not direspecting Ford love him

Can people please remember to stay on topic...this is a Van Helsing thread not Anime or other.
Has anyone found any Drac pics from this movie? Me and BOPRecruit have been looking everywhere for pics, and have only found two 🙁 If anyone can help..thank you.

later on i'm going to check out some richard roxburgh fansites and for the van helsing movie to see if there's any better ones.

yep i'll go look l8er.....ok?!?!?! 😄
i'll keep u'z posted if i find anything

i went to see it......it was totally awesome!i have to admit tho,at the end,it was sad! 🙁 but other than that,it rocked! 💃

although this van helsing icon live journal site has a bunch of wonderful dracula icons, i still can't find large images of dracula. good ones that are used in the icons of sorts. outnow has some good ones, but not enough of dracula.

Hi. I didnt like Van Helsing. I think it all looked kinda unreal... especially the wives of Dracula... i think they're like always screaming bitches and i didnt like the acting style. Hugh Jackman and Kate Beckinsale were okay... not wonderful, okay 😉
the only person i really liked was david wenham. he fits the role really good, though faramir is so differrent 😉

i personaly loved the movie to death i think the visuals were the best u can get at this time, the monsters were cool, dracuala was the best he did his role so well. but realy hugh was f'ing awsome.

i loved david wenham as carl! 😱 he was so funnie! 😊

throughtout almost the whole movie, i felt like someone needed to kick anna (kate) off her high horse. that's my opinion.

lol true she did seem kinda out there, that and realy the whole its my brother thing kinda ticked me off the while movie.

I like this film...but not so much...🙂

But I also think that David Wenham stole A LOT of scenes from the two leads. After acquiring the 'David-Wenham-as-Faramir' complex, it was such a pleasant shock to find he has very good comedic timing! What a talent!

vengence: like i said in my review, anna acts all high and mighty about being tough enough to handle dracula and other vampires when she actually ends up being pretty weak at it and need van helsing to help out. i understand her whole family problem, but...damn...she ticked me off! 😠

jeffer wrote: yeah! 😱 i hope he gets more into that side of his acting talent soon 😊
