One of my all time favourite bands, Heaven And Hell is one of my favourite albums with Ronnie.
Got nearly all of them on record/lp thanks to my mum buying them in the 70's.
I ment Trouble 😮
Any way you know them 😱
ive seen sabbath 3 times and randy could play ****ing circles around morrelowhat has that got to do with seing Sabbath 3 times?
Thing with Randy is would he develop his skills or would he stagnate, the likes of Yngvie Malmsteen is that they copied Randy`s style and developed the technique further on.
No doubt that Randy was extremly good, but his death really made him a guitar icon. I bet if the likes of Ritchie Blackmore had died before he quit Purple he would have been up there with the same status Hendrix has, but fact is that Ritchie is still alive and kicking and still an awsome guitarist. So the question still stands that if Randy had gotten to live on we really dont know how he would have developed. Tragic as it is some artists rally gain on dieing, if you get my drift.
Look at all those who died young that has a achived cult status.
Beside Randy Rhoads we have Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrisson, Janis Joplin, Jeff Buckley, Kurt Cobain, Marc Boland, Ian Curtis(Joy Division) Sid Vicious (Sids cult status is beyond me, but even so)...................
Back to Sabbath, my fav albums, well I have 2.
Master Of Reality and Vol 4.
