Crayola watched as Michael left with a side glance, turning her attention back to the T.V. at hearing the door close. She stood up and jumped over the sofa and into the kitchen, sliding to a stop at the fridge door.
"Well, 'siderin I'm in a nicer than normal mood..." She started to hum to herself as she dug into the fridge, taking out a few items. She got out a long wooden spoon and smiled gleefully as she poured a bag of flour into a blue plastic bowl. "BEcaaauuuuuusssseeee I have noooothing better to doooooo!!!" She crooned, pouring milk into the batter as she stirred.
Just then, a news report caught her attention on the T.V. as she started to sing in a high soprano tone. "In our latest story, two teens were found gruesomely murdered by..."
Crayola had been stirring the batter absentmindedly at seeing the current news broadcast. At seeing the supposed vampire responsibly for the crime she felt her heart drop as the bowl slipped from her hand, landing fresh batter to her feet.
SHe snapped up from her state, just at the same time when she noticed Michael slip back in. "What happen?"
Crayola gulped, unable to take her eyes from the news and a weak, nervous smile across her face. She pointed to the screen with the wooden spoon in hand, her arm shaking. "On the...on the news...apparently these two teens were gruesomely...slaughtered. Know how apathetic this is, but that's...that's not what caught my attention. Sh*t happens...no, ya see, the murderer...she's a girl. She's Cree, she's a vampire."
She shook her head, dropping the spoon as she slapped a hand to her head. "Excuse my french, but holy motherf*cking f*ck...who knew?" She gulped. She had expected her cousin to change over time but not so drastically. And the murders she were accused for. It didn't seem right...
Crayola looked to Michael and spoke quietly. "Think she did it?"
