Of course THAT happens, I have done that. But I don't think it is true love until AFTER you meet.
Yeah, I was refering to online romance rather than online love. Or at least i was thinking about online romance rather than online love...
Its difficult as well, especially if you live miles and miles away from each other.
I love getting on line and chatting to certain people, one especially who I will choose not to release their identity, so, I guess I believe in online love as well, whether you meet the person or not.. as long as you love and look forward to communincating with someone or some people in any way shape or forum, ie the telephone, internet, passenger pigeons, it's a courtship. That has everything to do with love. It's classic and romantic.

Dont forget snail mail. Thats also romantic and really cool.
i think im like TH, as im drawing a pic right now, and about to send it in a few weeks.
i dont see why people say theres no such thing as online love, you talk to them the same as you do in real life, you have the same feelings you do in real life, probarly even stronger as im planning on going over to America within the next 18months and she will be coming back here.
but every one is entitled to there opinion and i respect everyones , some people will agree and some wont, its up to them, but i believe in it.

Wellll, I met my now fiance using ICQ i did a search for people in my area and shot her a message, she had a boyfriend at the time but we talked for about 3months every other night and sometimes on the phone. One day I went on a date about 3rd month and she got really moody with me, being the typical male it took me a week or so to realise why she got moody (she really liked me). However not wanting to break up her relationship I sat back and carried on as normal but I started to see her differently.
Not long after she split with her boyfriend who was and being objective here, was a complete tool he never bought her flowers, took her out etc and rarely stayed the night he'd always leave 1-2am.
so a few weeks after this we decided to meet, so we picked a cinema set a time and went to meet each other. At this time I didn't love her but I knew there was something special about her we'd talked so much we'd shared everything about our lives in the time we'd been friends traded pictures etc. It wasn't until I saw her, spent the evening Watching 'Road Trip' with her, holding hands and then going onto a pub afterwards talking that it hit me, she was special, everything i'd wanted in a girl and I wasn't gonna let her go. Well we ended up talking till 5am that day and saw more of each other in the coming weeks, 3months later on new years eve at midnight I got down on one knee proposed to her, obviously she said Yes and we been living happily ever after, hell we even got a Dog (Border terrier named Ella)
So as far as i'm concerned I didn't --Love-- her just from talking online, the phone etc but once we met it all seemed to click into place and that as they say was that.
