I'll go with a real easy one:
We're a shock rock band who constantly change our line-up. The band title is the same as the lead singer's alias. One of our members left to form Jack Off Jill, and another joined A Perfect Circle. We were wrongly blamed for the Columbine shootings by parents. Also, we suck.
ok, difficult-ish one:
Industrial-eque punk band, formed in Berlin with 1 member born in Japan. 3 mc's and 1 DJ pretty much, but all of them are or were very compitent musical artists. the group split after 1 of the members OD'd, which caused each of the members to form a music label, and each do their own solo projects, 1 member has become quite successful, and has collaborated with Dave Grohl with probot (but never featured in the finished project) and more recently Rammstien... he's also played at Reading and the Fuji rock festival. The original band's first label was owned by the beastie boys

That'll be Norma Jean.
I'll take Df's turn, being as he's a lazy bastard and all 😊
We're a five piece political post-hardcore band formed in 1994. We made our first release, a six song EP in 1996, and recorded our first full-length album in 1997, which cost less than $1500. In 1999, we picked up a new bassist, Rob Avery. We've also had headlining slots at the Deconstruction and Warped tours, and habitually name all of our tour buses things like Roger, Arnold and Stella.
Interpol...
now, we are a band who were the most influential American punk band and influenced the velvet revolution. our singer has run for office on two separate occasions and was the first person prosecuted for an album in history. We later sued him for greed and drugs and replaced him with at least two lame assholes while trying to bankrupt his excellent record company.
The great & mighty Dead Kennedys!
We are a 5 piece new school metal band named after a can of pesticide found in the basement of our bassist's grandparents house. Our first big break was in 1996 when one of our songs appeared on a Mortal Kombat videogame disc. We are well-known for our excellent live shows, and also for our tremendously talented vocalist, who used to front an R&B group before joining us. We recently took part in an acoustic tour with the band Cold. Who are we?
