Best Marvel Games?

i think that xmen mutant academy2 on the ps1 was very addictive,
im also wondering which you people like more, xmen legends or wolverine's revenge?

legends, wolvies revenge was bad playability wise, although the graphics were better.

anyone here played the hulk, {i havent}
and the new spiderman 2 on the ps2 looks like grand theft auto.

hulk isnt great, its average, havent played spidey 2

I remember being fascinated with X-Men: Children of the Atom when this game came out. It also kindled my interest for Spiral.

The new spidey2 sucks imo. Spiderman the movie game was wayyy better. I played part2 for pc.

Although it's not a video game, I think Marvel heroclix is a blast to play.

Marvel vs capcom because i like fighting games but i wish the would make a marvel vs dc game that would the best game ever.

I would say 1, as in 2 the moves, animation playability had been down graded.

I like HeroClix for table-top gaming. I haven't played too many of the console games. Hulk for PS2 is okay, kind of average for a game. The Spider-Man2 game for PS2 is pretty good.

Has anyone played City of Heroes for the PC? You can play on-line with your friends and make exact duplicates of your favorite heroes, right down to the buttons on the costume. It gets addictive really quick (and that's just fine-tuning the look of the character).

To the person who said Spiderman 2 sucks, you got screwed. The PC version was made for dummies with crap graphics and stupid villians. The PUMA, for christ's sake?!? The consoles had a much better, free-form version. If you ever get a chance to play it on X-Box or PS2, I promise you'll change your tune. Nothing beats the thrill of learning to do stylin' swinging combos with blinding speed and precision.

edit: I guess you can tell where I'm throwing my vote, eh? Seriously, I have liked most of the spiderman games because he is a character with innovative powers that are fun to use, if only for a short time.

X-Men 2: Clone Wars

The first X-Men game for Genesis allowed you to play as four characters: Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Gambit and Wolverine, with others that you could summon to help you out.

The second one, X-Men 2: Clone Wars allowed you to play as Beast, Cyclops, Gambit, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Magneto.

Spider-Man 2 with ease.
