Chris was a degenerate drug addict beyond saving and Tony took care of his problem after seeing the baby’s empty car seat that could have had his daughter in it.

It wasn’t an act of love. Tony is a cold killer when he needs to be and he killed his problem.

Yeah, Tony reasoned with himself that killing Christopher was for the greater good, to the people close to Christopher getting caught in Chris's destructive lifestyle, but in the end, Tony did it to solve his own problems, nothing more.

Chris was out of control, Tony knew he'd come to a bad end and drag the family down with him. He did it for Chris ultimately.

A cold blooded person wouldn't react the way he did at a prostitute being beaten to death.

It's been already covered, murdering Chris was a selfish act that suited Tony's best interest long term.

Tony was mainly pissed because Ralph did the murder behind his place of business and the legal troubles that could cost him. Any real compassion for the victim was minor.

But sure, I get you're still doing your attention seeking shtick, so you need to ignore the show's reality.

And again if Tony was so bad, why did he so upset at what Ralphie did to Tracee?

Tony Soprano is a victim of his psycho mum and his environment. The fact is he was flawed, but had many good qualities. He's honestly a better person then many here at KMC.

Tony wanted any excuse to kill Ralphie. Ralphie was the only member of the Soprano family that was smarter than he was and his fragile ego couldn't take it. It was clear he hated Ralphie from the moment his character was introduced. His killing of Ralphie was the same as his beating up his driver Perry Annunziata. To assert his dominance. You can see how uneasy Ralphie makes Tony in the scene when Ralphie refuses a drink.

Ralphie was Tony's biggest earner by far, and as Ralphie even noted Pie-oh-My was a financial drain on the both of them. It was an emotional act because Tony viewed Tracee as a child, and never could get over Ralphie murdering her. There is literally zero evidence that Tony's anger over Ralphie murdering Tracee or his killing Ralphie were motivated by a sort of pragmatic villainy. None.

I don't remember Tony having real emotions for her, but fair enough if I'm wrong.
