What an excellent movie! I highly recommend it for people that like plot-driven movies! Jamie nailed this role, and the entire cast was sensational!

I'm supposed to go see it this afternoon with my girlfriend and her Dad. Hope our plans pan out, because I have been looking forward to this one.

There were parts when I felt like crying, particularly in the sceces when he was a little boy. The actor portraying Young Ray was really good, and so was his mother, an actress with no experience or training.

Jamie def. deserves an Oscar nod at the very least, and so does REgina King and Kerry Washington.
