Romero's "Dead" Trilogy on Dvd = $30

I was checking out BestBuy.com today and they are running a really sweet deal. You can get Night, Day, and Dawn on DVD, all for $30 + free shipping.

I know that "Night" has been released like 12 different times, so it's an old version, but this includes the newer Anchor Bay "Day" release, as well as the "Dawn" version due this Tuesday.

That said, I will probably take advantage of this sale.

i am all over that!!!! 😎

Here's a direct link, for those of you who like to shop online.

Best Buy is stingy on deals such as these, so it is more than likely just an online sale only, not an "in store", but I may be wrong. Still, best bet is to buy the lot online if you don't already own them.

thanks man😄

Nice deal, too bad I already own Day of the Dead...

exactly......sweet deal, but I already own Night of the Living and Day of the Dead..............

hehe sweet!!! 😎

I'll be having that, cheers fella

Ihave all three on video ( NOTLD is the original but in colour), I have the original in it's B+W glory on DVD, I'll have the remastered Dawn... as soon as it comes out. Cinemaddiction said that there is a new Anchor Bay release of Day of the Dead, I can get a free Anchor Bay DVD if I fill out this form I got with Army of darkness.

yeah cinemaddiction thisis only a online sale. because they dont carry Night of the Living Dead in best buy. so get those credit cards out 😛

Gotcha. Well, I've pretty much decided to hold out on "Schindler's List" for atleast a week since this deal is a one time only thing, plus after reading everyones glowing reviews of both "Day" & "Dawn", this just seems natural to come first.

ooh, niiice! i hope the remake of dawn is as good as the first.

what is the deal with best buy and the release of the Dawn of the Dead special edition dvd? are they on back order? because they were saying my movie that i bought, thanks to this thread, wont bein till next week. but yesterday i went to circuit city and they had like 20 copies. and i never got the chance to get to best buy when they released the dvd till yesterday and i didnt see it on the selves nor did i see any promotions for it. did bestbuy even put it on the selves? or are they so backed up that they have to wait for the next shipment?

What you should have done was probably select to pick it up in the store. I think you could have applied the actual sale price online, and then taken the "Pick Up" delivery.

That is odd how it is on backorder. I imagine they shipped most of their copies to the stores.

They actually have the 10th Ann. edition of Edward Scissorhands, the only version in Widescreen, in a 2/$15 in store sale, so I check ther website, and it's only backordered there.

Trust me though, the movie(s) are worth the wait. I got mine yesterday, sat down and watched them and was thrilled to death.

bought my Dawn of the Dead dvd yesterday..............got 'em all now.

Only $12 at Walmart..........can't beat that with a stick.

Are there any specs on the 3 disc "Dawn" DVD due later this year? A director's cut sounds godly.

I've heard that it will indeed be a directors cut on one disc, special features on the second disc, and the third disc will be the musical score.

I don't know if this is true or not though, just a rumor. But it sounds believable.

well i got completly mind f*cked today. my copy of dawn of the dead came in today...weird? but then the other two dvds didnt come in. i asume that they shipped them seperate? i jsut hope they didnt get lost.

and i know what you mean about the sales in bestbuy. i went up there yesterday to do some long needed movie shopping and i bought an amazing 6 dvds for only 50 bucks. i still cnat believe that forrest gump was on that sale rack.

My "Dead" trilogy shipped together, which was nice.

What did you get at Best Buy? I've been on a tear, with "Dawn of the Dead", "Day of the Dead", "Night of the Living Dead", "Schindler's List", "Ginger Snaps", "Zombie", and probably "The Beyond" by the end of the week.

I'm going to FYE tomorrow, not that they'll have anything I need.
