(that's not to say i don't believe you.. i just think it's dumb that part of the alliance fleet's fighter design came from one half of the republic while the bad guy ships came from the other half of the republic, where in the OT they were NOTHING alike..)

It looks very WWII, which is cool since Lucas had WWII in mind when he did the Original Trilogy.
