Christmas Movies

Hey, does anyone know the name of that movie where the a troll prince is turned into a gnome because he's not heartless? There's a song, here are some lyrics;

"Gods loves all he makes, Even mean old trolls, That's why he sent his only son, So we can live anew..."

I don't remember anything else. They used to show it every Christmas, but lately it's been new, stupid movies.

Help would be very nice, though 😄

My #1 all time fave christmas movie is one from the late 80's/early 90's ( i think). I can't remember the name, and hopefully someone here can. It's about a girl who gets upset because her father can't come home for christmas, so she stops believing in santa. She gets on a bus because she's gonna go find her dad, and santa is sitting next to her. They go on this journey to find him, and at some point they end up in some warehouse, a sleigh race, santa's in jail, and at the end they find her dad playing piano in a mall. Anyone know the name of that movie?

1. A Christmas Story
2. A Charlie Brown Christmas
3. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
4. Home Alone
5. Scrooged

Also, I've never seen "It's a Wonderful Life."

That one where they take santa to court. Something like Christmas on 34th street or something. Bad Santa is likley to be the worst ever x-mas movie.

That movie IS called Christmas on 34th Street, like a previous person said. Now, can someone help me with my Christmas movie? The one with the troll prince turned gnome?

AH HA! I just went looking for myself, and discovered that he title of my movie is The Little Troll Prince! Here's a good summery:

"A little gnome, who used to be a troll where everything is backwards, where good is bad and bad is good, tells why he loves Christmas and how he discovered the gift of God's love. Features the voices of Vincent Price, Jonathan Winters, Cloris Leachman, and Don Knotts."

Yeh its called "The Magic Tale Of Christmas"

What is called The Magic Tale of Christmas?!? Did I miss something?

it may be predictable, but honestly, It's A Wonderful Life is the ultimate Xmas film. And yet, i don't know why. It's dark, its sombre, and for about 90 minutes of its running time, there isn't much mention of Xmas or of events being anything like festive, and yet...when the film kicks in and Potter does the dirty of good ol' Jimmy Stewart, the goosebumps arrive and the movie grabs you. Also, the ending - which is admittedly Xmas-card-like - rounds off the drama so well that you forget about the darkness and the fact that the film's villain survives to fight on another day and probably get his hands of Bedford Falls.
There is no comparison; Santa Claus the movie? Elf? Scrooged?

I think not

Holiday Inn!
Charlie Brown Christmas

The Grinch (movie)
Nightmare before Christmas
Christmas Shoes
Grinch (Cartoon)
Cant think of many more

I finally got around to seeing "Elf", and loved it. I'm not that big a fan of "A Christmas Story", because "Home Alone" has kind of wormed its way into my heart.
