Hulk just used leverage to keep it supported, with his back and his legs. He didn't "lift" anything because it was already lifted up by Molecule Man.
An object THAT big truly must have had a portion of it resting on the ground. It was too large for Hulk to balance as well as lift.
No one on Marvel EARTH could ever do something like that. Not Juggernaut, not anyone. That feat was 2/3 bullcrap anyways, but it was part of comic continuity so who am I to argue?
it was very impressive, but at the same time...very unbelievable.
I don't think many things in comics are unbelieveable and if I do I overlook them.
When you're a fanatic of a silver alien who goes around on a surfboard in Space, you have to just waive believability when it comes to Comics.
My (dumb) friend once said "HA! Hulk lifting a mountain, where's the realism?". Obviously overlooked that it was a big, green monster holding up that mountain with a guy who has the abilities of a Spider and other such assorted mutants with him.

Hey I saw that. And Wonder Woman has helped shove the moon around before too.

Why? Lest we forget, mountains are on...the ground.
