Depends on the intentions of the band/artist, take bands like 'Rage', NOFX, SOAD and Bad Religion, i think they are doing it for the right reasons, its not different from me or you voicing our opinions only they have the musical clout to do it.
true, but because music is such a wide spread and accessible form of media... political opinions broadcast thru it can only be construed as Propaganda, since theres no other outcome than to sway to political viewpoints of people who like the band etc
im not totally against it, if its done for the right reasons like you said... but atm, the amount of Anti-Bush bullshit flooding my ears every day has become a bit tiresome
I think now is the time we'll see who the true anti-Bush artists are.
The reason I say this is because I think alot of them were just doing it in the run-up to the election and now they think "Oh well no point dissing him now."
People with stuff to say will always say it. God knows that'll happen between now and when Zack gets his album out but he'll have a shitload of topics.

Doubt we'd get a shit load, probably a hardcore following but thats about it.
Bands like NOFX and Bad Religion have been anti-Bush since his induction and probably won them no US fans those are the anti-Bush bands i feel are genuine and not just doing it as a publicity stunt like Eminem.
