Angel continued to cry, her face buried upon her knees. She was sobbing quite hard. She just couldn't stop. Angel felt lost and cold without her wings. What on earth had happened to them? Why had they gone? She suddenly leapt off of the cot, her foot caught onto the metal bar of the bed and she tripped. Angel cried out as she collided to the floor, with no wings to catch her or cushion the fall. She tried to push herself up but to no avail as a river of blood trickled down her nose.
