Aiko was a little shocked by the story. It was sad, tragic, yet had happy moments in it all the same. "I am sorry. My mother is gone as well. She died in childbirth with me." Aiko smiled a bit and ran her fingers through her hair. "Basically I have never known a mother, so you are lucky to have known your mother for so long." She turned to Sam and smiled a little. "It is nice to meet you as well."
