Angel smiled a bit, it was weak and hurting. She couldn't stop the tears from falling from her eyes. Was she going to die? Was this what he was telling her? She closed her eyes as she hugged him gently. "you're doing your best. Thank you..." She felt herself shudder a bit, she was getting too hot but she was starting to feel numb, cold even. Was this it? Was this the end for her?
Aiko dashed into the city. Her ebony pelted figure running as fast as it could go. Soft padded feet slammed upon the sidewalk. From out of no where a gunshot sounded. Aiko had little time to react as she quickly bolted to the side. She blinked and stared at a man as he raised the gun again, dead at her throat. She trembled and meowed nervously. He fired again. Aiko leapt to the side and jolted out of the man's sight. She knew she couldn't run forever, not in this new body. She stopped and stared up at a building. It was on fire. It was her best bet for saftey, she could escape later. She ran into the opened door since the firemen weren't there yet, only a large crowd of spectators had shown up. She panted as the smoke clung to her pelt. Aiko was blinded by the cloud as she began to move out again but then her ears pricked when she heard the sharp cry of a baby.
Dark was standing by the doorway. She felt Dare's emotions and walked towards where she had found her friend. She stopped at Dare's door and knocked on it softly. "Dare, I know you're in there. come out, I need to tell you something."
Aiko couldn't control her insticts anymore as the feline part of her took over, flaming red eyes burned through her skull as the cat slunk closer and closer towards the baby cradle, not far from the flames. She stopped as she spotted the baby and all crimson light vanished from her eyes as she blinked a bit. Suddenly a wooden board caught aflame. As it began to burn it fell, tumbling right for the baby. Aiko didn't have time to think, just react. She lunged for the baby, catching it in her arms before the wood fell and caught her leg. She cried out, only then realizing she was human again. "But... How?!" She felt the flames licking up her pant's leg. Aiko looked at the baby and held her underneath her body to protect her from the flames. "It's okay little one. Soon I'll have you out of here." She removed her over shirt, revealing a white tank top underneath as she placed it over the baby's mouth. She tried to push the blazing wood off of her ankle, she had to move to help the baby. With a shattering howl she looked at her hands, burned fromt he flames. She glanced back at the baby and tears filled her eyes. "I'm so sorry little one. I'm so sorry." She held the baby close to her, tears falling from her eyes as she thought of the flames eating her flesh as the pants gave way.
::All of a sudden Jacope II cut through the wood and fire easily and grabed onto Aiko and the baby. He crashed into the fall and through. He went flying to near by building and layed her on the roof with the baby. He first checked the baby if it was aiight. Its was still breathing. He saw a woman crying "I want my baby!" He went down really quick to give her the baby::
Jaocpe II: Youre baby will be fine
Mother: Thank you Jacope. God bless you ::Hugs Jacope II::
::Jacope II smiled and thought about Aiko and flew up for her. He went and landed on the building top and to her quick. He grabs ont aiko hugging her. She was burned all over her legs and her left hand and right arm.::
Jacope II: Aiko! Please dont be dead....::Jacope II started to tear up and cradiling her wishing she would be aiight.::
Aiko winced as a hand brushed against her burns. She didn't think heaven was supposed to hurt so much. Or was she in hell? She slowly opened her eyes, her brown orbs glancing up at Jacope II and blinking a bit. "If you keep squeezing me like this I think I'm going to be..." She smiled, only kidding around as usual. Aiko coughed, her voice rough and hoarse. "Is the baby ok? And why am I not dead?"
::Jacope II felt alot of relief that Aiko was talking atleast. He wanted her alive. JAcope II didnt want Aiko to die to jus like his mother and his best friend, Pancho. Jacope II had her laying on his arms. He looked at her smiling. It was a comfortable filling when he hugs or has someone on his arms because of the zip hoody he wears. its soft, warm, and nice.::
Jacope II: The baby aiight. I gave her to her rightful mother. Youre not dead because im always with you and ill be there to save you and protect you, Aiko. I was so scared beauce i thought that i was gonna lose another person in my life....jus like my mother, and my best friend.
Aiko smiled a bit, her ashy colored face glowing and flickering as the flames danced not too far away from them. "I wont leave. Who would watch over all you guys huh?" She turned her head to the side as she smiled again, her heart beating gently within her chest as she began to breathe again, despite all the smoke she had inhaled. She raised up her arms and hugged Jacope II back, hurting her burned limbs a bit but not too badly. She could withstand it, it wasn't life or death. She rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes closing. "I can't leave, not yet... Not now..." Her hands began to shift again, turning back into paws but Aiko was too exhausted to even notice the strange tingling in her finger tips.
::JAcope II was hugging her and closed his eyes. He was so happy shes alive::
Jacope II: Come on lets go home and get you to the medical room.
::JAcope II helps Aiko like a baby and went lfying to the titans tower. He looked back and the saw the fire fighters had everything under control. Jacope II was very tired but he was used to it. He dosent get that much sleep because of all the evil all over the world. He was also worried about Delta. He didnt want to bring it up so that Aiko wanted to fight him. He wanted her to rest and be safe. Jacope II see that titans the tower was getting closer::
Jacope II: Were on our way AIko, prepare for landing.
::Jacope II goes and lands on the roof on his feet. He walked to the medical room still carrying Aiko. He walked by robins room, oyokas room, Ravens room, and then to the medical room. Jacope II walked in and laydd Aiko on the bed::
Jacope II: Youll be ok, ill help you by fixing the burn on youre body and youll have you perfect skin in no time ::Jacope II whispered smiling.::
:: He takes out the anestisia and puts the anestisia mask on Aiko's Face. He waited until she inhaled the gas and for her to fall asleep. He was very patient::

(Sorry for the double post, but I felt Sam hasn't been getting enough time in the story. I'm going to have an old school samurai duel.)
Sam had stayed on the roof of the tower, hearing all of the noises of the others and all the action from the city. He would have helped if he thought they needed him. Sam took his swords from his belt and began to polish them. "Sometimes I think I should hang up my swords... I've learned a lot about healing... I could pass the swords on and become a doctor." He thought, letting his sword glimmer in the sun. He put his swords back on his belt, then he sat down and took a deep breath. "You might as well show yourself... I heard you coming a mile away." He said, to a person standing behind him.
Sam heard a chuckle and a few footsteps before he heard a familiar voice say. "I'm not a bit surprised Sam... Your hearing hasn't gotten at all faulty... Let's hope you can say the same about your sword skill." The voice was deep and slightly raspy. It was an unpleasant and very threatening tone.
Sam stood up and turned to the person behind him. "I'm surprised you can still talk after our last meeting, William... Did they ever manage to find all of your teeth?" He asked the tall, lanky warrior standing in front of him.
Will had a light scar across his throat and a deformed cheek, he smiled to show off his missing teeth. "They lost a few, but it's okay... They can transplant a few of yours after I'm done killing you." He said, drawing his sword and talking a elaborate stance.
Sam sighed and drew both of his swords. "You should just walk away looking as good as you do, I'm sure a few girls will still talk to you." He said jokingly, taking an open stance.
They stared each other down for only a few seconds before Will charged at Sam. Sam sidestepped the attack and kicked his feet out from under him. Will rolled as he landed and stood up. He spun around and slashed at Sam's legs. Sam did a jumping back flip, kicking Will as he flew. Sam laughed at Will as he landed. "Don't go losing any more teeth." He mocked as Will got up and attacked again.

Aiko weakly clung to Jacope II as they landed. She was still afraid of hights despite what condition she was in. The air hit her face, making her eyes run and tear. She was carried to the medical room, her eyes showing her fear. She looked at the mask as Jacope II put it upon her. She trusted him but was afraid to breathe in. What if she didn't make it? She closed her eyes as she took a deep breath. After a few moments she was knocked out, her head turned limply to the side.

Angel's eyes filled with tears as she choked a bit. She clung to him tightly. She wanted to be better, she wanted it all to go away. Her fever was rising as her grip slipped a bit. She was losing ahold of consciousness and losing it fast. "No... I dont want you hurt. No.." She began to cry harder, her tears racing down her cheeks.
