Dark. Pure, cold, darkness encircled an embryo like Kaze. She heald tight to her knees, wrapped in a cacoon of memories. A circulatory system of questions floated around her, unable to penetrate the cloak of silence around her. She wished for nothing, nothing. That is what this was. Simply nothing.
Is this death? Is this what I wanted? Cravedso badly?
Her body refused to move. She was encased in an emotionless shell. She felt nothing. Something rattled her mind though. She felt something. Fear, she knew there was something, something so powerful overcomming her body. But what?
What? Somethings wrong. Im not supposed to feel. Why am I confused?
Two shining blue orbs shot opened, it seemed for the first time in ages. How long, exactly, had it been? She leaned her head back, shoulderlength wisps of silver fell from her eyes and floated in a fluid manner. Her body unfurled, her arms drifting from her legs, which stretched forward. Toes, as if never before used, uncurled. Ten taloned fingers extended from as tightly clenched fist, and she opened her mouth, a few bubbles slipping out.
Then the pain came.
Kaze choked on the fluid which engulfed her lungs, her whole body. She had no idea what was happening, or where she was, but instincts kicked in rather quickly. Long, lean legs lashed out, and arms thrashed untill the surface was broken. A huge breath would be drawn in through the newly opened lips. Once more her eyes slipped open. She unconciously treaded water beneath her. Rain pelted down upon her, and a loud crack of lightning made her flinch. Slowly the memories flooded back into her restless mind.
Kaze, the child of the wind wolves, was alive.
Peering around, Kaze finally realised her surroundings. She would need to get out of the water, surely this lightning was a threat to her. A loud howling dorned out the sound of the raging wind and water around her, rushing past her ears with the gusts, and suddenly somethingpopped up beide her. She cried out suddenly as the huge black wolf emerged. He took note of her, and, thrilled, jumped upon her. She managed to pushe him off and smiled, tears streaming down her face.
" Ash...Oh Ash. "
She held the wolf close, and then began to swim to shore, She stopped noticing the huge tower before her. Her stomach dropped. What would they think of her now? They probably didnt remember. She sighed. It was best that way. She took her wolf form and shook as she reached the solid ground. Ash followed the larger wolf's lead, and then barked happily at the tower., only to be hushed by Kaze, who had once more taken her human form.

Tom felt a lump in his throat as he stood up and looked at his feet. "Congratulations... who's the father?" Tom asked, his voice wavering. Tom didn't know if he wanted the answer, but he had to ask anyway.
She looked at Beast Boy as he came in. Her heart lurched, but she remained calm and steady. Things were over between them. Same with her and Tom. She wouldn't be getting back into a relationship anytime soon. Her heart was broken and shattered. Once something falls into a million pieces, its impossible to put back together. She knew her heart would belong only to... She winced. What would he say to her? What would he do when he found out?She grasped his hand on her cheek, moving it down to her stomach and placing it there. Tears ran down her cheeks, and a sob pushed at her lips, unable to get out but still there. [b]"Tom I... I'm pregnant..."
She looked away, unable to face his gaze. "Please don't be mad at me. Please." She let his hand go, burying her face into the two palms. She had wanted to tell Dare first, but Tom had to know too. It wasn't his, it was someone else's. Someone she thought loved her. But that was oh so long ago. [/B]
Kaze turned abruptly, her sopping wet hair plastered to her pale face. She wore a grave expression as Lance noticed her. Only then did she realize she was still nude. It didn't matter now, all that mattered was that she was alive, she was real. Stepping forward she brought a hand to Lance's cheek. Each of her fingers tingled with the sensation of actual touch. Her skin was fresh, unmarked. She was in her truly original form, with no traces of prior life. This being so, she still remembered everything, which came to her in uneasy blows untill finally she reacted.
Her lips slid apart, but all that came out was a meek squeal. Ash broke the uneasy silence, letting forth a thrilled bark as he trotted around Lance, then back immediately to Kaze's side. Something else played in her mind, soemthing that kept her nerves completely on edge. She closed her eyes., and reopened them.
" W...Where's Angel? "
Kaze nodded thankfully. With a soft sob she placed her arms around Lance. She had no idea what to say or even what to think now that she was back. With a soft nod she once more took her wolf form. Pale silver fur billowed as she dashed forward into the tower. Her wet paws did not assist her as she slid down the tiled kitchen floor to her knees, but got right back up and bounded forward. Her pwas gripped the carpetted stairs, and, finally, she found the room angel stood in. Tom stood before her, looking extremely down. Kaze bowed her head, she knew this was horrible timing, but the last thing..the last thingshe recalled was Angel. Hurt. Used. Much as Kaze herself was not long ago.
The wolf's crystalic blue eyes focused in on Angel's compassonately. She sensed fear, sadness, and above all, Life. New life, burried deep within her best friend.
