Lance staring at the od wonman with out blinking he watching her unsure of her he was really freaked she was able to force him from hiding so easily he sat beside Kaze in the shadows

A still skeptical Kaze bowed her head and took a cup of tea. Sipping it slowly, she looked up at Faith.
" If you don't mind, what exactly, is this curse? "

She then looked at Lance, flashing a calm smile. It tok quite a bit of restraint not to laugh. It was obvious that he was very freaked out about how this woman knew the things that she did.

He watched the conversation of Kel's curse unfold and stared back at Lance, putting on a grin and whispering to him* "Why the hell did you follow me? Did Kel send you? I thought this was my problem only?" *He turned back to listen to the answer of what the curse was.*

Lance didn't stop staring at the lady "i didn't follow you i followed Kaze" he noticed het her trying not to laugh and sighed

Faith smiled. "The curse was meant to send Kel far away from people if he had an evil or cruel impulse... he had been influenced by some less then favorable people into thinking that his powers could only be used for destruction... Kel came to me to steal my knowledge, so I gave it to him... at least, I gave him the knowledge of the curse. The curse weakened when he met you titans and decided to become a hero. However, since the curse is somewhat of a living thing, it grew strong enough to manifest itself again. Kel is probably no longer evil, but his memories are enough to confuse the curse into thinking otherwise." Faith said, stirring some sugar into her tea and offering the sugar to Beast Boy.

Faith frowned. "Your friends were concerned. You may have left a note, but you were not flying to and super market that they knew of... Don't question such actions when you know the reasons for them, and don't think yourself so strong that you no longer need the aid of you companions... that will surely lead to you destruction." Faith said, shaking her spoon at Beast Boy.

Lance remained silent till be being spoken to he was still shaken by the old lady his shadow flackered alot mostly cause of his nervousness the shadow sometimes swirled...

Faith looked over at Lance and smiled. "You are made nervous by what you can't understand... I can sympathise, for I was once young... unaware that there are things unexplainable by any scientific means... I have since learnt more then any school can teach, simply by observing the world around me... after some time had past I found that observing what was in the minds of others was as easy as listening to the words they speak." Faith said as she offered Lance a cookie. "Take one, you'll feel better."

"I know, that was foolish of me. Forgive my actions." *He smiled and took the sugar offered, stirring it in his tea. He turned to Lance and answered* "Most likely. Considering what you me and Kel discovered, I would suggest they would want to hide themselves and their identities from the public." *He turned back to the old woman and waited for an answer.*

Faith shook her head. "I put the curse on Kel to teach him a lesson... not really my proudest achievement, but it was something I had to do." Faith said, leaning back in her chair. Faith looked serious for a moment. "Do not doubt your worth just because of your choices in the past... Kel needs you... He hasn't had a chance to talk to you, but his mind is filled with thoughts of you." Faith said, almost looking as though she was lost in thought.

Faith looked over at Lance and nodded. "Yes, you've dealt with them before... I still see their presence haunting you... but it is odd, somehow they masked their true identities from Kel... He would have told you everything he knew had he realized who he was dealing with."

Faith stood up. "You have power over them... They might think they can trick you but you have a chance to turn their plans back on them." Faith said walking over to the door. "Remember who your friends are when you are with those people... you can bring them to justice if you keep that in mind." Faith said and she looked out side to the porch. "Kel isn't far... He's only a few miles from the city, if he gets much closer, the curse will take his far away again."

Faith Bowed to Lance as he left. The cloaked people were gathered around Lance as he appeared in front of their old church. "Lance is back... tell the profit." One of them said as others ran back inside.

Lance looked at them and walked past them for some space "you certinaly knowhow to make me feel welcome...." he muttered and sat on a supportbeam playing with the shadows boredly waiting for profit
