*Angel was still lying on the beach. Her blood soaking the sand yet again. She felt the life going out of her quickly. She weakly curled her wings around her and waited for it all to end**Inside the tower, Dark was practicing her powers when suddenly she felt a stab of pain jolt through her. She gasped as her hands began to burn away as if acid had been put upon them. "N... NO!" she thought* ANGEL!!!! *She tried to move but her legs were already disappearing. She landed on the ground, without her body she was just a wandering soul. She tried to move but her body was leaving too fast, meaning that Angel was dying as well*
*Angel's body was trembling in pain. Her wings once strong and healthy were now brittle and very fragile. She couldnt hear BB's voice. She couldnt hear him trying to get her to hold on. She was already far too gone to be saved by anything. Her breathing became raspy and weak. She felt cold as though she was frozen in ice. Her body gave a violent shudder before everything went limp. Her wings turned black and rotten. Angel was gone, her soul departed from her body. Inside the tower, Dark's body was gone as well. There was nothing left of the dark angel but a puddle of blood and a single black feather*
*BB's eyes suddenly went wide. His voice was shakey* No...No! NOOOOO!!!!!!!!! *He pulled off the mask and threw it aside. He put both hands on his head and wailed* WHY! WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *He grabbed the mask and put it on. He walked back to the tower, sobbing, tears dripping slowly from the mask*
*Angel and Dark were soaring through the skies. Angel stopped and looked back at BB. "Forgive me..." she whispered into the wind. She and Dark looked at each other and then to two people greeting them. "Mother! Father!" Dark and Angel flung themselves into their parents arms, drowning in hugs and kisses. Angel laughed and her wings were glowing brighter than ever. Even Dark's black wings glowed happily. Angel looked back at Beast Boy and her eyes saddened. "Mother, I want to go back. I want to be with him." Angel's mother embraced her tightly. Angel looked at BB and realized that she'd never see him again until his soul left as well. She sighed sadly and decided she'd have to wait. Until then, she would watch over him as his gaurdian angel*
*BB collapsed half way to the tower and slammed his fist into the sand* I'm a murderer..I can't do this anymore..If the titans find out i'l go to jail..This was all my fault..I killed her..I didn't want this to happen..And now I can't do anything about it..*He pulled off the mask and looked at it* If this is my life..If i'm seppoused to be a criminal..I refuse..I just want her back..I want her back..so bad..I can't live my life without her..*BB got up and carryed the mask. He found one of Angels feathers. He would keep it. He would keep it, and remember her always. Until he was murdered himself, He would treasure their memories in his mind, and in his heart. He loved Angel, and always would. He would never let anything get in the way. He held the feather as tears streamed down his face. He continued on to the tower, knowing that some day, he would find Angel once more, and never leave her side.
kaze, for a short instant felt angel depart. she had found happiness... hm.. so life after death truley was a mystery.. what kaze had found was an endless sleep, it was just an abyss of nothing, where she would be curled up, naked, sleeping pecfully... untill awaked by a summoner... now she began to fade into that painless realm again. it calle dot her.. there she would not hurt.. there the tears wouldnt fall... there would be no lance either.. never more would she spend countless hours weeping in a silent agony.. in being alone, she was, however, not alone, but together, her heart body and soul.. together as one... she began to lose feeling of lances presence as a hushed breeze whispered of how he would never love her the way she loved him.. though it hurt to succomb to these painful raptures, she somehow accepted them. she then quoted the very words staining her mind. " never.. will he love me... the way that i, love him..." she was about to let go.. about to once agaian take the silent form, regretting nothing.. not the memories, not the words unspoken. for there was nothing left to say.
