I can give you it from a guys perspective if you like....

If you have to worry about how you are going to "hold on" to someone - you're utterly ****ed.

If your thinking about holding on - it's not love, it's desperate codependency (at best.) You can settle and be happy with that if you choose, or you can move on and look for real, true love - where the notion of "holding on" to some one is never an issue.

Most people are terrified of being alone, and choose to settle. Those are the cold hard facts.
