My runner up would probablly be "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine"
I usually don't get crazy rock like this. But Death From Above 1979's music actually sounds like they put soul into it. And I can't believe that this band only consists of a drummer and a bass guitarist and some computer samples. They are worth checking out.

Indeed. So was When The Levee Breaks and the waste of space Fiddle And the Drum.As for Counting Bodies Like Sheep, as I've said before, it sounds like The Downward Spiral era Trent Reznor taking a shit on a mixing desk.
Jeez, you people are too hard on that album. I like it. Obviously not nearly as good as their other two releases, but what were you expecting out of a cover album? A bit boring in places, but I wouldn't label any of the tracks as flat-out bad. (Except CBLSTTROTWD... plus I think that's the longest acronym I've ever encountered in all my 17 years of life 😐))
Billy Howerdel, James Iha, Josh Freese, Troy Van Leeuwen, Paz Lenchantin, Jeordie White, Danny Lohner, Maynard James Keenan. That's arguably the best supergroup in history. With talent like that, they have no excuse to create a hit and miss covers album when they should be writing the kind of pure rock perfection we heard on Thirteenth Step and to a slightly lesser extent, Mer De Noms.
Plus, Maynard has actually irritated me for the fist time in his career on this album, which is a deeply disturbing experience 😖
