Star trek is a cheap lowcost sci-fi soap opera and it sucks ass! :-)
It´ basicly The bold and the beatiful set in space!

Well, actually, Star Trek was unique in its stories that mirrored the social issues of the time. There were no other shows on TV during the 60's that tackled the topics like Star Trek did.

And to be quite honest, Robert Wise, the director of the first Star Trek film, was not some nobody director. We're talking about the guy who directed West Side Story and The Sound of Music. Pretty major films.

But, then again, the dork who started this thread is nothing but a spammer, and this is waaaaaaay off topic, and not even really worth responding to.
